This Grande Taco is completely functional.  There is nothing wrong with it at all except that it does not have the "DRUM TACO" embroidery.  It is being clearanced because it's a prototype made from a plush velour material that we were trying out.  It works great, it just isn't the material we were hoping for.
 
It weighs 8 ounces, like our traditional grande tacos, and will work great on your snare or tom.  Because it's plush, it will have a little more dampening and will be perfect if you mic your drums.
