The Hi-Hat Rod Extender is versatile, easy-to-use, compact and is the perfect solution to adding hi-hat effects to shorter hi-hat stems. (You will need 1" of exposed rod to secure our Hi-Hat Extender)
 
Not only is it a great addition to your toolbox, but it also looks cool! Made with a 17/4ph stainless steel shaft and solid brass components, the Hi-Hat Rod Extender is durable and classic.
 
Having a removable rod gives you the option of changing out your setups quickly and easily. With the addition of a few extra rods (sold separately), you can have different modular setups waiting and ready to go. This is a great option, especially for our Rebound Clutch! Find your perfect spring distance beforehand and you won’t have to worry about adjusting on the fly. Simply loosen the top wing knob on the Rod Extender, replace the rod with your chosen setup, tighten it up and you’re set!
 
With approximately 7” of exposed rod, the Hi-Hat Rod Extender works great with our KPF Loaded Lotus combo, our Can Shaker with Rebound Clutch, or any of our Modular items with our Rebound and Utility Clutches.
 
Fits up to 7mm hi-hat stems. Extra rods can be purchased separately and cut to a custom length, just contact us with details.
