Choose between three different media fills, each with their own distinct sound.  You'll be able to easily tell them apart by the colored stripe on each mallet.  Red is our coarsest media, Silver is our finest media and Blue is in between with a medium coarseness.
 
These Shaker Mallet MINIs sound great by themselves or together!  Have just one, two matching, two complimentary, or try blending all three in one hand like a maraca.  
 
Like our standard Shaker Mallets, these are made with 1/2" diameter, eco-friendly, strong, durable bamboo dowels, engraved with Creative Percussion, with a hand-rubbed polyurethane finish.  These shakers are approximately 6 1/2" long and compact enough so you can take them with you everywhere!
 
Use them as accent shakers or work them into your grooves by using them as shakers and sticks at the same time.  They are a great way to work on your control and motion.  While these are not made for heavy hitting, they can be used on cajons, as long as you employ some caution and don't get carried away....they may dent the cajon wood or the plastic ball if used with too much force.
